Dr. Datuon attends conferences in Romania and Spain

Dr. Raymond Q. Datuon, Dean of Education and Head of the Senior High School Program and Faculty and Staff Development Office, attended the 2nd International Conference on Beliefs and Behaviors in Education and Culture (BBEC), held at the West University of Timișoara 23-25 June, 2016, and in the 3rd Teaching & Education Conference June 28-July 1, 2018 at the International Institute of Social and Economic Sciences, Barcelona, Spain. In addition to delivering his paper, he was also chosen to chair parallel sessions in each of the conferences.

The BBEC conference aimed to propose interdisciplinary perspectives, building comprehensive and holistic explanations of beliefs from different sciences that have a great impact upon education and culture. The conference addressed themes related to issues and processes of education at any level, from kindergarten to lifelong learning, from formal to informal education.

In addition, the 3rd Teaching and Education Conference aimed to promote education and scientific research as well as to provide a venue for meeting new colleagues and improving the research skills of the participants.

Dr. Datuon presented his paper entitled, “The Competing Values Framework of Administrators Among Private Colleges in the National Capital Region.”

The conferences have provided him new insights and perspectives in education. They were great venues for meeting and exchanging ideas with scholars and academicians from different parts of Europe."
