The CKS College scout basketball team earned an unprecedented 10-Peat championship crown in the recently-concluded 12th Baden Powell Cup Basketball Tournament 2015. The Blazing Dragons swept the best-of-three championship series against Philadelphia High School, winning the first game last February 18 at the opponent's home court to the score of 69-53, and ending the series with a lopsided 79-45 victory at the CKS main campus gymnasium on February 27. The team was mentored by volunteer coaches and alumni Herbert Cuenca (HS Batch '85) and Chester Kevin Sy, CPA (HS Batch 2006).
The Blazing Dragons earned their first title in the tournament in 2006 and has never relinquished the top plum since then. Aside from the two finalists, this year's competition had six other schools competing, namely St. Stephen's High School, Tiong Se Academy, Grace Christian College, Philippine Women's University, Republic Institute, and Elyseum Christian School.
Individual awards also went to CKS College's Julius Floyd Capati, who emerged Most Valuable Player of the tournament, Mike Jericho Mojica and Jonathan Co, who both made it to the Mythical Five selection. Also in the CKS team were Miguel Ruiz Tan, Neil Patrick Sia, John Sedryck Shi, Anson Tyson Que, Julius Dominic Cua, Robert Angelo Martin, Erwin John Lee, Miguel Trencio, Dewey Ellis Chua, John Jacob Ang, Wilson Andy Ang, and Kuan Yu Chen.
