CKS scouts started the new school year 2015-2016 with two awards won for the school.

Last June 24, the CKS College Blazing Dragons scout basketball team completed its stint in the first-ever Hoop Dreams Invitational Basketball Tournament 2015. The tournament was organized by the athletics department of St. Jude Catholic School and had six teams from five schools competing. Despite having 10 rookies in its line-up, the team bagged a respectable first runner-up finish to eventual champion Adamson University, thanks to the mentorship of the team's volunteer alumni coaches Herbert Cuenca and Chester Kevin Sy. The team is composed of Julius Floyd Capati, John Sedryck Shi, John Jacob Ang, Dewey Ellis Chua, Miguel Trencio, Kuan Yu Chen, and rookies John Vincent Tan, Jonathan Tan, Ivan Louis Chung, Jefferson Yeung, Bryant Ngie, Gerrickson Malto, Ethan Robin Tinoco Chan, Joshua Ivan Sia, Jacob Paul Bait, and Aabon Weng.

Last July 25, Michael Benjamin C. Morco of Grade 8-A also emerged as champion in the senior scout category of the 3rd Manila Council, BSP Scout Heroes Quiz Bee Competition at the Augusto Syjuco Scouting Center in Malate, Manila. He won a plaque and medal for his feat.

Congratulations!
