Henry Jefferson Morco, A Philippine Delegate to the 51st International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO)

Henry Jefferson Morco, a junior high school student is recently chosen as one of the 3 Philippine delegates to represent in the 51st International Mathematics Olympiad to be held next month in Astana, Kazakhstan. A consistent honor student, Henry has won numerous honors in international competitions, not only in Science, Mathematics, but also in English. His most recent achievements include: bagging the Champion in Biology in the 7th National Science Quest held in Tabaco, Albay; winning Silver Medal for the Individual Category and Gold for the Team Category in the Philippine International Math Competitions held in Iloilo City; and he was one of the 25 merit winners in the recently concluded “Dare 2 Dream” Youth Writers Awards Asia 2010 English Short Story Writing Competition sponsored by Reader’s Digest and the National Library Board of Singapore.

Henry’s other teammates for the forthcoming Mathematical Olympiads are Carmela Antoinette Lao, a 4th year student of St. Jude Catholic School and Zheng Rong Wu of Zamboanga Chung Hua High School.
