Last January 19, the team of CKSC emerged the champion in the annual Brainquest contest held at Lyceum of the Philippines University. The team, composed of Henry Jefferson Morco, Richard Milante, and Helena Go (all from IV-1) bested the eleven teams from Philippine Cultural College, School of St. Anthony, Philadelphia School, and other high schools. The prizes received by our team are as follows: Trophy, gold medals, and cash prize of P5,000. The trainers of the team are: Mrs. Cristina Monsanto (Biology); Mrs. Venus Llantada (Chemistry); Mrs. Cynthia Yap (Physics); Mrs. Armi Mogro and Mr. Eric Buiza(Mathematics).

On the same day, Raenelle Ean Ngo of III-1 emerged as 2nd runner-up in the PASIKLABAN SA PAARALAN Caravan, a nationwide mobile interschool quiz competition on Science, Math, Language, Literature, and General Information held at San Sebastian College. The contest was sponsored by DIWA Learning System Inc. (DLSI) in coordination with the DIWA Distribution Network (DDN). The contestants from San Sebastian College and Philippine Women's University were declared as the champion and 1st runner-up, respectively.

The next day, January 20, La Salle Greenhills held its Annual Girls Interscholastic Math Competition. Among the 11 schools that joined, our school ranked 3rd for the Team Category. For the individual category: Shannon Christa Uy of IV-1 was 3rd Place for Algebra, Michelle Gan of IV-1 was 1st Place for Trigonometry, and Raenelle Ean Ngo of II-1 was 1st Place for Geometry.
