On March 23, 2023 (Thursday), at 7 PM, Chiang Kai Shek College will host a free webinar titled "Montessori Method 101: An Introduction to the World of Montessori Education for 3 to 6 years old."

Intended for parents who are considering Montessori education for their children and for teachers who are in need of a refresher on the basics of the Montessori Method, this webinar will be conducted in English via the Zoom platform.

Ms. Michelle Rose Ulgasan, the Montessori Director of Chiang Kai Shek College's South Forbes Campus, will conduct the webinar. Ms. Michelle Ulgasan is also one of the instructors for the Montessori Teacher Preparation of the U.S. and the Vice President of the internationally-recognized Montessori Institute of America.

This is your chance to learn about Dr. Maria Montessori, the founder of the Montessori Method, and her life and works, including how she developed her unique teaching style while working as a doctor before opening her first school, Casa Dei Bambini, and her educational philosophy, which focuses on the three key elements of learning: the child (the child's absorbent mind and sensitive periods), the adult (the adult's role as an observer and guide) and the environment (the prepared environment).
