“CKSC: Together We Are One”, the concluding message of the Best Documentary Show won by a group spearheaded by Jaystyn Yu of IV – 10, is truly shown in the activity, “CKSC Through Students’ Eyes: A Mini-Exhibit” as a pre-celebration of the 75th Foundation Anniversary. The exhibit showcases talent and creativity in drawing, skills, and knowledge in making documentary videos from the Universal Kindergarten up to the High School Levels. As shown in the exhibit, students were able to capture the 75 glorious years of the institution and to visualize the promising future of the school. It was indeed a success since various departments were actively involved.
To open the mini-exhibit formally, the college president, Dory Poa, Ph. D., together with distinguished school administrators from various departments, cut the ribbon and viewed the exhibit last June 27 at the school lobby. The exhibit will last until July 4 to accommodate students, parents, non-teaching personnel, teachers, and school officials to witness the potentials of the basic education students.
“Making Dreams: A Reality” sums up the students’ visions of a great CKSC in the future. Showcased in the exhibit are the winners from the different contests from different grade and year levels. The exhibit includes the following winners in their corresponding categories:
Best Documentary
Best Photojournalism
Best Poster Making ( Intermediate Level )
Best Poster Making ( Primary Level )
Best Poster Making ( Universal Kindergarten )
The activity would not be a success without the cooperation of the following departments: The English Learning Area of the High School Department led by its coordinators, Mrs. Brenda Ong and Mrs. Marle Tan; the Universal Kindergarten headed by Mrs. Luzviminda Sim; the Elementary Department led by Mr. Antonio Uy; the High School Department headed by Mrs. Cristina Monsanto; the IT Services led by Mr. Clyde Ben Tan; the HS Discipline’s Office, and the Filipino HS Department headed by Mrs. Ruth Gabiane. The concept was executed by the activity coordinator and emcee of the ribbon cutting ceremony, Mr. Allan Rey Villaverde.
