Four CKSC students were members of the Philippine girls' basketball team that competed and won the bronze medal in the 5th ASEAN School Games last June 22 to 30 at Hanoi, Vietnam.  The triumphant lasses were Je-Anne Camelo, Wichell Kho, Ria Joy Nabalan, and Pamela Andree Payac.

The games were played at the Hanoi National University of Education gymnasium.

Among six countries that competed in the event, Thailand took home the gold medal, Indonesia got the silver medal, and both the Philippines and Malaysia won bronze medals.

The Philippine team was coached by Diana Sy. who was assisted by Cristina dela Cruz and Angelina Fedillaga, all of whom are members of the CKSC girls' basketball team's coaching staff.
