A Filipino scout was chosen as one of three Outstanding Scouts of the Asia-Pacific Region for 2007. Rover Scout Bruce Willis W. Sing of Chiang Kai Shek College actually topped the competition, besting candidates from more than 30 countries in the Asia and the Pacific. The awarding ceremony was held last October 23, 2007 (Tuesday) at Tokyo, Japan during the Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Conference.

Nathalie Joyce S. Lim and Hazelin C. Ng, both CKSC high school graduates of class 2004 recently graduated with honors from the De La Salle University-Manila during her 150th Commencement Exercises this month held at the PICC.

Nathalie Joyce S. Lim graduated magna cum laude with the degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Mathematics. She was a consistent awardee of Jose Rizal Certificate which is given by the respective Dean’s Office of the university every year to consistent Dean’s First and Second Honors dean’s lister.

Eleven (11) CKSC students were recently given Youth Excellence in Science (YES) Awards through gold, silver and bronze medals by the Science Education Institute (SEI) under the Department of Science & Technology (DOST) last October 18 at the PHIVOLCS Auditorium in Diliman, Quezon City.

This is the first time the DOST-SEI has launched the YES Award to further motivate students to strive for excellence in the fields of science and mathematics. Only students who have competed and won in international science and mathematics competition joined by at least four (4) countries are qualified to receive the YES Awards.

　　中正學院為再次落實對外交流，爭取教育資源，特組織【京滬教育參訪團】，訂九月十六日啟程赴北京，廿一日飛上海，廿四日回馬尼拉。

　　 該團於九月十一日晚假世紀花園大飯店舉行授旗禮，邀請校友陳永栽博士主持授旗禮，以壯行色。參加授旗禮者六十餘人，包括董事、學院各部主任、校友總會二位 副會長、各執行委員及參訪團團員二十人。除陳永栽博士外，商總理事長陳本顯先生、名譽理事長董尚真先生、盧武敏先生、立案秘書凌達偉先生、大使館李茂廣秘 書、王軍領書、諸貴賓皆撥冗參加，儀式簡單隆重，氣氛溫馨。
