CKS College IB-DP students participated in an information session on the admissions process at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) last September 23,. The session was conducted by Ms. Jessica Lo, Assistant Director of the Student Admissions and Scholarship Office, and Dr. Pamsy Hui, Associate Head of the Department of Management and Marketing.

The session provided students with valuable insights into the university’s admissions process and helped them better understand the opportunities available to prospective applicants. Through the sharing of the university representatives, students were able to gain a clearer perspective on what to consider as they prepare for their transition from the IB Diploma Programme to higher education.

University information sessions such as this play an important role in helping students make informed and purposeful decisions about their university choices. Beyond learning about admission requirements, students can explore academic programs, understand the university environment, consider available opportunities, and reflect on how a particular institution aligns with their interests, aspirations, and future goals.

For IB-DP students, choosing a university is an important step in shaping their academic and professional journey.
