CKS College Lady Dragons Wins 57th WNCAA 3-on-3 Basketball Championship
Yet another good news has arrived! Our Girls’ 3-on-3 Basketball Team emerged victorious in the 57th Women’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (WNCAA) 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament – Midgets Division, clinching the championship crown.
Competition was tough and fierce, with Chiang Kai Shek College’s Lady Dragons basketball team facing some of the most competitive girls’ basketball teams in Metro Manila, including Assumption College Antipolo, Miriam College, San Beda College Alabang, De La Salle Santiago Zobel, and La Salle College Antipolo — overcoming every opponent along the way.
With outstanding skills, unwavering perseverance, and seamless teamwork, the CKSian team displayed steady performance in the championship game, ultimately defeating La Salle College Antipolo in a dominant 16–6 victory to claim the crown.
This remarkable achievement was made possible by the following outstanding players who brought honor to the school: Grade 7 students Lorie Jane P. Araza and Ynnah Marie M. Togle, and Grade 8 student Junia Madison A. Raymundo. The team’s success is, needless to say, credited to the dedicated guidance and tactical deployment of coaches Diana Sy and Cristina dela Cruz.
