PYP Parent Coffee (October 9)

The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) will have a Parent Coffee session on October 9, Saturday, from 9:00 - 11:00 am via Zoom. It aims to bring all the stakeholders together to strengthen the partnership between the home and the school so as to provide the utmost support needed by the students.

國際文憑小學項目(PYP)將於10月9日(週六)上午9:00 - 11:00通過Zoom會舉辦家長座談會。家長座談會旨在讓所有人加強家庭和學校之間的伙伴關係，為學生提供最大化的支持。

The activity is a two-part session that focuses on Helping Young Students During Online Classes and Language Learning in PYP. The PYP parents are requested to sign up using this link https://tinyurl.com/ParentCoffeePYP2021 on or before October 6, 2021, Wednesday at 5 pm. The link will be sent to the registered parents via email on October 8, 2021, Friday.

Registration for SHS Term 2 Functional Chinese Classes

Grades 11 & 12 students may now register for SY 2021 to 2022 Term 2 SHS Functional Chinese classes. Classes shall run from Oct 11th to Dec 13th, 2021. Please visit https://tinyurl.com/FC-course-select-Term2 for details.

Students may register for any of the following classes:

Chinese Cooking
Classic Chinese Songs in Karaoke
Chinese Painting
Public Speaking
News in Mandarin
Learning Cantonese
Chinese Chess
Wushu
Chinese for Career Development
Chinese for Social Interaction

Limited slots are available per class. Class size is 25 students. Registrants shall be confirmed for enrollment on a first come, first served basis.

Every student needs to take 2 Functional Chinese classes in a school year.

Who are REQUIRED to sign-up for the class?
(A) Student who has not taken any Functional Chinese (FC) class yet;
(B) Student from sections A and B.

Who are not required, but may take the FC course as an advanced class?
(A) Student from sections C, D, E, or F who has already taken Selected Readings 1 (for Grade 11) or Selected Readings 3 (Grade 12).

Who does not need to sign up for the class?
(A) Student who has already taken 2 Functional Chinese classes for AY 2021-2022
