Chiang Kai Shek (CKS) College's celebration of its 75th Foundation anniversary culminated in a gala night held at the SMX Convention Center on September 28, 2014. This event celebrated the achievements of the CKS College community.

The event's program, spearheaded by Mr. Ruben Co (CKS College Alumni Association), featured the talents of CKS College's students, members of staff and faculty, and alumni. Organizers, choreographers, and performers -- aged five and up -- put in extra time and effort for rehearsals in addition to school and work schedules since the start of the school year. The amazing numbers presented more than made up for the hard work invested from the heart in the name of school spirit and pride.

The school awarded the CKS College 75th Anniversary Lifetime Achievement Award to five outstanding CKS College alumni who helped shape significant social, cultural, political, and economic developments in our country:

• Dr. Lucio Tan, founder of the Lucio Tan group of companies, which comprises Asia Brewery, Tanduay Holdings, Fortune Tobacco, the Century Park Hotel, and Allied Bank, among others
• Mr. Henry Sy, Sr., founder of the group of companies, SM Investments Corp. (SMIC). Mr. Sy was represented by his son, First Executive President of SMIC Mr. Hans Sy.
• Mr. Carlos Chan, special ambassador to China and founder of Liwayway Marketing Corporation, which produces the Oishi brand and other food products
  
• Dr. George Ty, founder of Metropolitan Banking and Trust Company, or the Metrobank group of companies, was represented by his son, Metrobank Corporate Secretary and Federal Homes Inc. President Mr. Alfred Ty.
• Mr. Tony Tan Caktiong, founder of Jollibee Foods Corporation. Mr. Tan Caktiong was represented by his brother, Jollibee Philippines President Mr. Joseph Tanbuntiong.

The CKS College 75th Anniversary gala capped off with a lucky draw where 75 audience members each won P7,500 in cash. One grand draw winner took home a Great Wall vehicle. 

The school thanks its staff and students for striving to achieve excellence in behalf of CKS College; the Board of Directors and the CKS College Alumni Association for its never-failing support. Special thanks are also in order to Mr. Teps Salvador for overseeing event production, Mr. Evans Chiu for the 75th Anniversary logo, Tsinoy TV, Wrangler Jeans, C-Shop, and other CKS College alumni who sponsored and contributed much to the celebration night's success. 

中正學院訊: 本院泉笙培幼園自創園至今，一直都抱著一個宗旨，就是要推廣閩南語的教學法，使每一個培幼園的畢業生都能聽和講流利的閩南語，朝著這個方向努力，因此閩南話的故事表演就未曾間斷過，為了印證半年下來的學習成果，在去年十二月十二日我們舉辦了一個閩南語的常識智力比賽，參加者分別是小班和中班上下午的小朋友。          

本園首次舉辦此項活動，由各班選派兩位代表，以遊戲方式進行，現場兩張桌子上分別有「☆」代表對和「╳」代表錯的圖案，鈴鐘及玩具錘子，小朋友要一面眼看投影簡報圖, 一面耳聽老師的問題後，用錘子敲打正確答案的鈴鐘，一分鐘內答對最多的為優勝者。當主持老師清楚地把遊戲規則示範講解後，比賽隨即開始，參賽的小朋友有的動作敏捷，反應快，像小精靈般；有的慢條斯理，認真思考後才作答；優勝者除了被表揚外，還有一份小禮物作獎勵。

舉辦常識比賽的另一個目的是要訓練小朋友的機智和思考能力，他們必須專心地聽和看，他們必須不受旁人干擾而自己決定該選那一個答案，在整個比賽中，還可以看到小朋友們性格上的差異，比賽過程順利，氣氛激烈又熱鬧，還真是別有一番趣味。

Isang matagumpay ang patimpalak na naganap noong ika-16 ng Disyembre 2014 sa awditoryum ng Chiang Kai Shek College. Ito ang malikhaing interpretasyon ng awitin na may temang “Pamaskong Handog ng mga Batang Tsinoy”. Nilahukan ito ng mga mag-aaral sa bawat pangkat ng ikatlong baiting. Nagpamalas ang bawat kalahok ng kani-kanilang husay at galing sa pagpapalutang ng mensahe ng mga awiting pamasko. Naipakita ng bawat presentasyon ang tunay na diwa ng pagdiriwang ng kapaskuhan. Nagpalutang din sa okasyon ang pakikilahok at pakikiisa ng mga magulang ng ilang mag-aaral na naging abala sa paghahanda sa nasabing paligsahan. Tagumpay rin ito ng mga guro sa Filipino sa mababang paaralan na nagbabahagi ng kanilang oras at kakayahan upang maipalabas ang natatanging angking husay at talento ng bawat mag-aaral sa larangan ng sining. 

          Ang mga nagsipagwagi sa paligsahan ay ang Pangkat B na may awiting “Kampana ng Simbahan” na nakakuha ng ikatlong karangalan, Pangkat G naman ang nasa ikalawang karangalan para sa “Paskong Anong Saya”. Nasungkit naman ng Pangkat D ang unang karangalan sa interpretasyon ng awiting “Kumukuti-kutitap”. Samantalang naitanghal na kampeon ang Pangkat A sa malikhaing pagpapahayag nila ng mensahe sa awiting “Sa Paskong Darating”. Kabilang sa inampalan ang mga kapita-pitagan at mahuhusay na guro ng ating paaralan na sina Gng. Ruth Gabiane-koordineytor sa Filipino sa hayskul, Gng. Luzviminda Sim- Tagapangasiwa sa Tanggapan ng Admisyon at ang punong hurado ay si Gng. Eleanor Tumanan na mula sa Paaralan ng Hizon. Sila ay naging makatarungan at patas sa kanilang itinanghal na nagwagi sa paligsahan. Nagpakitang-gilas din ang mga puno ng palatuntunan na sina Keveen Kence W. Sy Suan, Chun Kit Simon Rodger A. Tan at Pheobe Shantal M. See.

          Ang pagdiriwang na ito’y naging matagumpay, hindi lamang ng mga guro, mga mag-aaral at mga magulang kundi ng ating mahal at pinagpipitagang paaralan ang Chiang Kai Shek College!
