為加強本院華文教育素質，在校董會邵建寅董事長的提倡下，以「對外交流、對內改善、培養新人」為辦學宗旨，決定於八月一日至八日組織「華文教育觀摩團」， 前往馬來西亞及新加坡兩國進行交流，並以邵董事長建寅先生擔任團長、校董會常務董事陳義維先生和院長黃美真博士為副團長、原副院長王自然女士為文書、校友 總會曾國翔副理事長為財政、院長中文秘書黃思華老師為總務、而團員們有中學部中文主任黃珍玲老師、小學部中文主任莊麗桑老師、校友總會顧問曾國榮先生和趙 清俊先生。
本院學生於二○○七年八月十八日應邀遠赴新加坡參加「第三屆國際數學邀請賽」 3rd International Mathematics Invitational Competitions 2007．不負眾人所望，在來自中國大陸、印度、馬來西亞、新加坡、菲律濱等國家的四百多位參賽者中脫穎而出，表現突出，再一次為學校爭取到榮譽。本院中 學四年級劉德華同學Paul Julian G. Hao及中學一年級黃田貴同學Geovin Dexter Uy及均獲金牌，中學二年級佘展合同學Andrew D. Sia榮獲得銅牌，而中學中學三年級施瑋琪同學Abigail Crystel C. Sy及一年級蔡綿佳同學Bianca Lorraine W. Sing獲得特優獎。
CKSC students recently brought honors again to the school by winning medals and merits in the 3rd International Mathematics Invitational Competitions 2007 held in Singapore last August 18. Around 400 outstanding math students from China, India, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines competed.
Winning gold medals were Paul Julian G. Hao of IV-5 and Geovin Dexter C. Uy of I-1. Andrew D. Sia of II-5 won a bronze medal while Abigail Crystel C. Sy of III-5 and Bianca Lorraine W. Sing of I-1 got merit awards.
本學院小學二年級己組林逸鴻同學於七月間參加（Faber-Castell and National Bookstore）聯合主辦的一項即席繪畫賽-「我愛我校兒童創意比賽」(Skul Ko 2 Luv Ko 2 Kids’ Creativity Contest)中，榮獲特優獎(僅錄取三名)。主辦單位除了贈送林同學獎狀一張及獎品一份，以資鼓勵外，也贈送本學院紀念品一份，感謝本學院對林同學的 栽培。
林同學為人好學、勤奮努力、品學兼優，是本學院一位難得的資優生。林同學除了學業上的努力，也喜愛繪畫。他曾多次參加校內外繪畫比賽，均獲得優良成績，所以這次參賽獲獎，可說是實至名歸。
林逸鴻同學是本學院中學部林玉龍老師和小學部林巧妮老師伉儷之次子。

Once again, CKSC high school students won various awards and medals in individual and team categories in the 8th Invitational World Youth Mathematics Inter-Cities Competition (IWYMIC) held in Jilin University in Changchun, China last July 21-25, 2007. Sixty-six teams from 17 countries, including the Philippines, U.S., Canada, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, South Africa, India, China, Iran, Korea and Macau participated in this contest.
The CKSC winners of honorable mention for the individual contest were: Ervin Frederick Dy (III-5), Jillian Kristel Sy (III-5), Franchesca Choi (IV-5), Sharlene Dizon (IV-5) and Sherine Ann Koa (IV-5).
