Because of the bad weather brought about by typhoon Ferdie, there will be no NCAE Review classes for 3rd year high school students today, July 21, 2012 (Saturday).

The Center for Language Learning Laboratory, located at the 3rd floor, gymnasium building of the main campus- 1274 Padre Algue St., Tondo Manila is now accepting registration for people who are interested to learn and improve their Mandarin starting today until June 22, 2012. Classes will be held every Saturday, 8:00 to 11:30 a.m. from June 23 to September 08, 2012 for a total of 12 sessions. Those who are interested should at least have some basic knowledge of Fookienese and Mandarin. A Certificate of Completion will be given at the end of the course. Because of impending bad weather today, July 20, 2012 (Friday), classes in the Kindergarten Department will be up to 11:00 a.m. ,Grade School up to 11:15 a.m. for Grades 1 & 2, 11:30 a.m. for Grades 3-6 and High School Department will be up to 12:05 p.m.

The Language Learning Laboratory (LLL) of Chiang Kai Shek College (CKSC) will offer the following courses in summer: English for Tour Buddies; English Language Proficiency Courses (Levels 1-4); English Conversation; Public Speaking (for company executive and employees); English Grammar Review for Teachers; Business Writing (for company executive and employees); Mandarin (Basic and Advanced); and Fookien.

English for Tour Buddies is a 30-hour module designed to familiarize a tour guide or buddy with the most common and appropriate vocabulary (nouns, verbs, adjectives) used in tour buddy-tourist interactions and in providing tourists with a guided tour. It likewise includes sample conversations simulating certain situations expected in a travel or journey, as well as sample questions from tourists and the tour buddy’s probable answers.
