Dr. Datuon takes part as one of the Interim members of the CHED NCR Deans’ Council

Dr. Raymond Q. Datuon, Dean, School of Education was one of the interim members of the CHED NCR Deans’ Council during the General Assembly of Deans/Program Heads of Higher Education Institutions offering Teacher Education Program in the National Capital Region held in Max’s Restaurant, Quezon City Memorial Circle, July 27, 2016.
Dr. Leonida S. Calagui, CHED NCR Director presented the Rationale and Landscape in Teacher Education during the assembly. Also, she emphasized the importance of creating an association of deans/program heads in helping the regional office in uplifting the standards of teacher education program.
Moreover, Ms. Cielo Barit, CHED NCR Education Supervisor, presented an overview on Genderized Teacher Education Curriculum with supporting studies conducted locally and abroad. Then, Ms. Liza Libertine Magana, OIC Chief, Supervising Education Program Specialise facilitated the selection of the interim members of the CHED NCR Deans’ Council for Teacher Education Program.
