In the 13th Po Leung Kuk Primary Mathematics World Contest (PMWC) held last July 10-14 in Hong Kong, eight out of the 14 members of the Philippine Math team bagged bronze medals in the individual category. Clyde Wesley Ang of 5-G was one of them. He also received the Merit Award for the team category. A battle of Math wizards took place last July 25-29 in Inha University of Incheon, South Korea called "2010 Korea International Mathematics Competition (KIMC)".

One hundred forty-one teams from 26 countries and territories participated and one of them is our very own, Andrew Brandon Ong of 6-E. He made it to the individual, team, and group categories. Andrew received a bronze medal for the individual category, was placed champion in the team category, and was second runner-up in the group contest. For the third time, another CKSC student likewise made it in the "2010 International Mathematics Competition" in Singapore held last August 6-10. Jan Kendrick Ong of 6-G brought home a bronze medal where 987 students from 10 countries and territories competed. To complete the winning streak, Terence Brian Tsai of 5-A also got third honors in the "2010 China Primary Mathematics Olympiad" held in Tianjin, China last August 10-15.
Our students have proven again this school year that they can make it in

international competitions and can face greater challenges in the field of Mathematics. These students went out from their comfort zone and made a stand for the pride of their school. Congratulations, boys!
