Online Yoga Class (March 2022)


The fundamental purpose of yoga is “to foster harmony in the body, mind, and environment. Yoga professes a complete system of physical, mental, social, and spiritual development. The practice entails low-impact physical activity, postures (called asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), relaxation, and meditation.” (eMedicineHealth.com) Yoga brings about various benefits. It improves flexibility, helps with stress relief, improves mental health, boosts immunity, improves balance, improves cardiovascular health, and promotes better posture and body awareness, among others. Enrollment is now ongoing CKS Sports Development Office’s Online Yoga Class. Classes shall be conducted via Zoom, Tuesdays (2:30PM to 4:00PM) and Wednesdays (3:30PM to 5:00PM), starting on March 8, and will run until April 20.

This class can be taken in lieu of MAPEH classes for SY 2021-2022.
