中正學院語言中心 第一期課程圓滿結業


本學院語言中心2015-2016學年第一期基礎漢語、初級漢語(一)、初級漢語(二)及閩南語(一),在講師們悉心指導及學員們認真學習下,已圓滿結業。本學期學員包括商行經理、公司職員、家庭主婦、社會青年和大學生。經過十週短期的密集培訓。他們的華語表達能力都大有進步。

本學年第二期短期語言班,訂於九月五日開課。開辦的課程有華語系列課程、英語會話、閩南語、菲語和英語…等班。授課方式為小班制,上課時間為每週六上午八時半至十一時半,或下午一時半至四時半。另外開設特別班與個人班的授課方式。上課時間可配合學員的需要。

即日起接受報名,研習期滿,將頒發結業證書 (中英文版)。

中正學院聯合新聯公會舉辦 「牢記歷史,珍愛和平」圖片展


繼「中國僑聯」、「中國駐菲律賓大使館」及「菲律賓中國和平統一促進會」在本院舉辦《血寫的歷史——日本軍國主義在亞太地區罪行圖片展》後,新聯公會以「牢記歷史,珍愛和平」為主題的圖片展再度在本校展開。

 八月十九日,新聯公會以戴國安會長為首一行數人出席了開幕式。

 首由戴國安會長致詞,他說今年是中國全國人大常委會以立法形式確立的中國人民抗日戰爭和世界反法西斯戰爭罪利紀念日,因而有今天的圖片展,展示二次大戰在菲律濱的史實。

作為大戰侵略的受害國之一,菲律濱也留下慘烈的傷疤,難以撫平的傷痛。圖片揭露了日本侵略的暴行,慰安婦的苦難,同時,展示了抗日勇士華支的豐功。

根據菲律濱國家圖書館的檔案紀錄。一九四五年二月,日軍佔領了馬尼拉,在短短的二十八天中,燒燬了百分之七十二的工廠,百分之八十的民房,以及百分之百的商業區,對菲律濱人民造成極大的損傷。舉辦圖片展的意義在喚醒民眾牢記戰爭帶來的殘酷教訓,緬懷為國捐軀的英烈,珍惜來之不易的和平,以史為鑒、面向未來。

 潘露莉校長接著致詞說,這些圖片是歷史的見證,今天的紀念,是為了不忘歷史的悲痛。追憶這一段歷史的悲劇,為的是要表達對和平的嚮往,對戰爭的鞭笞。七十年過去了,時間可以消逝,但記憶不會風化,作為一個教育機構,我們必須教育下一代,讓戰爭永離人群,讓和平撒滿大地,讓孩子不再驚恐,讓母親不再泣嘆,讓悲劇不再重演,讓愛充滿人間。

 中國駐菲大使館吳永新領事致詞,強調歷史不應忘卻,如果一個民族忘卻歷史,就不成其為民族。今天全球人類都渴望和平,尋求和平共處之際,卻仍有些國家企圖使軍國主義還魂復活,值得警惕。

 抗日戰老戰士李康希因曾身歷其境,身遭其苦,對日本侵華歷史始末,知之甚詳。從甲午戰爭簽訂馬關條約說起,至後來日本製造一連串的侵華事件,中日對戰長達十四年,因此在二戰中國比之他國所受的傷害最久也最深。又提及日軍侵佔菲國,愛國華僑組織抗日遊擊隊英勇奮戰,壯烈犧牲不在少數,而如今日本首相不僅企圖美化掩飾當年的罪行,卻祭拜靖國社,隱藏歷史真相的意圖已昭然若揭。

 陳列的圖片,訴說著七十年前菲國在日軍蹂躪下的慘況。生活在當下的人們為了維護世界和平,應銘記歷史,銘記教訓,想方盡法撻伐任何軍國主義再抬頭,以免重演昔日硝煙彌漫,血流成河的悲劇景。此正是本院和新聯公會聯合舉辦圖片展的深長意義。

Back2Back Storytelling Seminar-workshop


The Grade School Department nailed its first Back2Back Storytelling Seminar-Workshop last August 22, 2015 in the Ching Ban Lee Hall from 9:00 -11:00 a.m. Despite the bad weather, the seminar-workshop was a success and had 46 participants composed of parents, students, and SPANDRA and Kuwentistang Tsinoy club members. This activity aimed to develop future storytellers not only among students but also parents, encourage teamwork between parents and children for a common goal, and make parents aware of what their children learn.

        Ms. Jocelyn P. Calugay and Ms. Ailene F. de Leon facilitated the said workshop. The seminar-workshop encompassed warm-up exercises, proper vocalization and breathing, storytelling types, techniques and approaches. The facilitators reiterated that the workshop would focus on creative book-based storytelling.  The participants were also asked to perform a short dialogue story reading depicting different emotions such as shock, happiness, sadness, and anger. The seminar-workshop is expected to culminate in a storytelling competition which will be held in September (date to be announced. The mechanics and criteria for judging were also discussed. The parents and students were invited to join the competition. 

中正學院學生參加 市區青年會國語歌唱比賽中學組奪冠


岷市區青年會為發掘青少年歌唱人才,培養未來藝術新血,每學年均舉辦多項才藝競賽,其中一項是國語歌唱比賽。此項比賽,是一埸競爭非常激烈的賽事。多年來頗受華校矚目,各校參賽學生非常踴躍。

這次比賽分為中、小學兩組,小學組經於八月十六日舉行。本院小學生林清善、黃玉華、柯馨雅分別榮獲首二三名。八月廿三日為中學組。是日參賽者經過激烈的初決賽,結果本學院十一年級的曾怡妮同學以「愛」奪冠。七年級的陳甜樂同學以「我想有個家」榮獲第四名,十一年級的蔡蕙光同學以「大海」榮獲第五名,為校爭光。

 本學院一向注重五育平衡發展,對美育的訓練一樣重視,故此次參賽學生始有如此出色的表現。

Two CKS College Education Scholars Attend Seminar for Assessment in K-12 Curriculum


K-12 Assessment

Last August 15, CKS College sent two representatives, Gian Patrik Renejane and Johanna Pauline Lamzon, both from the BSE Teaching Chinese Language program, to attend a seminar on “The K-12 Assessment Framework (1-Day Pre-service Training)” which was held at The Pearl Hotel in Ermita.

Dr. Carlo Magno, President of the Philippine Educational Measurement and Evaluation Association was the resource speaker. He started the said seminar with administering a diagnostic test to determine the prior knowledge of the participants on assessment in the form of a short essay, then, it was followed by a question-and-answer type of discussion concerning assessment and evaluation, and on correcting some common misconceptions thereof.

Relevant topics such as the Seven Principles of Assessment, Learning Competencies, Lev Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development, and Types of Assessment were also tackled. In the afternoon, a workshop was conducted in which all schools were asked to formulate ten exam questions that should be aligned with the given learning competencies, and present them onstage to be critiqued and assessed by Dr. Magno. The seminar ended with volunteer students sharing their insights about the morning’s discussion, and the distribution of certificates of participation.
