Last November 2-6, Raenelle Ean Ngo of III-1 and Clyde Wesley Ang of 6-G competed in the 2nd World Mathematics Team Championship held in Beijing, China. More than 400 students from the United States, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, and China participated.

The Philippine delegation is composed 24 students, 12 in the high school level and 12 in the elementary level. At the end of the competition, Raenelle won a silver medal in the individual category (the highest award for the Philippine high school students) and a merit award for the team category. Clyde Wesley won 2 gold medals in both the individual and team categories. Incidentally, Raenelle has been consistently winning first place in Chinese singing contests organized by various organizations, the most recent one being declared as Champion in the contest jointly sponsored by the Chinese embassy and the Federation of Chinese Alumni Associations.

　　去年的今日，本院會計系畢業生董克強高中榜眼，今年，另一名中正人－二○○七年度校友葉麗敏(Ervina Suzette Ching Tan)。

　　亦名登榮譽榜，榮獲全國公共會計師會考(Certified Public Accountants CPA Licensure Examinations)第九名，同樣的喜訊令舉校歡欣，競相走告！

　　亦是同樣的情形，今年二○一一年五月的會計師會考，全國有五千二百五十九名考生中，亦僅有四成多通過考試，葉麗敏能以90高分居第九名，誠屬難得。

　 　葉麗敏校友自幼在本院啟蒙，中英文學業成績均優良，小學中文班年年在前十名之內，英文班幾乎年年班上第一。升入中學後，中文班仍保持成績優良，英文班中 四時，列班上第三名。2004年，參加海報比賽得冠軍、2007年參加團體朗誦比賽(Sabayang Pagbigkas)也得冠軍。

The tarpaulins have been hung and the handouts readied for collating as Chiang Kai Shek College puts the finishing touches on its preparation for the seminar "Legalizing Business." Made possible through the generous support of Metrobank Foundation Inc., the seminar is the first bilingual - English and Mandarin - program of its kind.

Practising lawyers will be the presenters/discussants during the two-day seminar. Atty. Danny Chan will talk about Legal Environment and Business Registration and Taxation on the first day. On the second day, Labor Laws and Employment Standards will be discussed by Atty. Peter Kho while Atty. Chin Chih Lin will talk about Laws on Persons, Status, Residency and Immigration. Given their varied experiences, the lawyer-speakers are expected to give practical, down-to-earth answers to participants' questions.

The seminar scheduled on November 24 and 25 is Metrobank Foundation's way of helping to reduce poverty in the country.
