Henry Jefferson Morco- One of 25 Merit Winners in Reader Digest Writing Contest

Fresh from his success as Champion in Biology in the National Finals of the 7th National Science Quest held in Tabaco, Albay, Henry Jefferson Morco of II-2 added another feather in his cap by being one of the 25 merit winners in the recently concluded “Dare 2 Dream” Youth Writers Awards Asia 2010 English Short Story Writing Competition sponsored by Reader’s Digest and the National Library Board of Singapore in celebration of Singapore’s hosting the 2010 Youth Olympic Games.
Youth from different Asian countries like Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, India, Malaysia, Taiwan, and the Philippines participated in this creative writing contest.

In the Philippines, only three were selected merit winners. These were: 1) Henry Jefferson Morco of Chiang Kai Shek College, 2). Alexandra Mae See of Don Bosco School, and 3). Goldielyn Suzanne Chua Limsiy of Grace Christian College.
