從七月至八月間，本院小學部學生養精蓄銳的結果，亮麗地呈現在四場國際賽事中。

　　「保良局第十三屆小學數學世界邀請賽」 (13th Po Leung Kuk Primary Mathematics World Contest)，於七月十日至十四日在香港登場，菲律濱代表隊十四名成員中共有八名在個人賽中奪得銅牌，小學五年級學生蔡榮庭(Clyde Wesley Ang)即其一，他同時在團隊賽中獲得佳績。

　　七月廿五日至廿九日，在南韓仁川的仁合大學(Inha University of Incheon)中，一場名為「二0一0年韓國國際數學競賽(2010 Korea International Mathematics Competition)」，來自廿六個國家及地區的一百四十一支隊伍參加競賽，小學六年級學生王郁崴(Andrew Brandon Ong)，在個人賽中獲得銅牌，在團體賽中獲得冠軍，在隊賽中獲得季軍。

本院最近又有三名童軍榮獲菲律濱童軍最高等級－鷹級童軍獎（Eagle Scout Award)，他們是張民生(Jeffrey Dy)、林建成(Eugene Lester Lin)和佘展合(Andrew Sia)。

八月廿二日，在團長黃善財的陪同下，本學院此三名童軍參加了計順市議會童軍露營在UP Diliman 舉行的頒獎典禮，從首都地區童軍幹事 (NCR Regional Scout Director) William Chavez手中，接受了勳章。

Last August 8-14, 2010, five hundred sixty-two (562) skaters from eleven countries such as China, USA, Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, United Arab Emirates, etc. convened at The World Ice Arena of The MIXC Mall in Hangzhou, China to participate in the "Skate Asia 2010".

The Philippine team, trained at the SM Ice Skating Rink, beautifully displayed their winning figures, movements, and styles in the different categories scheduled during the competition.

One of the most promising skaters in the Philippine team, Jan Jasmine Lorraine Lim, a Grade 5-C pupil of Chiang Kai Shek College, bagged four gold medals in the following events: artistic, rhythmic, interpretative, and couples. She also received a bronze medal for footwork.

Congratulations, Jan Jasmine! Keep up the good work!

八月八日至十四日，中國杭州正醞釀著不一樣的冰風暴。嶄新的奧林匹克標準的真冰萬象滑冰場上，二○一○年度的亞洲滑冰賽事（Skate Asia 2010）正如火如荼地上演，而就在這一場競賽中，本院林伊茹獨得五金及一銅。

「亞洲滑冰賽」是業餘滑冰愛好者每年一屆的盛會。第一屆於一九八九年在香港舉行，二十年後的今天，參加這項美妙而優雅的運動者更加踴躍。來自全球十一個國 家，包括中國、美國、台灣、菲律濱、泰國、馬來西亞、新加坡、印度尼西亞、阿拉伯聯合酋長國等國家和地區的五百六十二名滑冰選手，聚集在杭州的萬象滑冰場 上，為的是要在單人、雙人、團體、家庭等等多樣化的精彩比賽中一展身手。
