The Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China (PROC) recently recognized Chiang Kai Shek College as one of the “Model Overseas Chinese Schools” in a ceremony held at the college auditorium last June 8, 2011. The prestigious award was presented by His Excellency, Ambassador Liu Jian Chao, and other key officers of the PROC Embassy in the Philippines.

　　本院主辦「2011年暑期菲華學生北京漢語夏令營」由本院楊琇燕和納卯基中洪素齡兩位老師帶領。

　　四月九日，841;位老師和四十五名學生乘搭南方班機，抵達了北京首都師範大學廣營區。北京市國際教育交流中心培訓學校安排的一所環境優境學習漢語的好地區。

　　抵達校園後的第二天，學生以一顆迎接挑戰的心情進入考場，開始水平考試。學9983;的認真作答，使北京的老師深受感動。本來，她們還在擔心學生是否都不會作答，結果出乎她們的意料之外，成績竟然不錯，僅少數程度差一點。

Ervina Suzette Ching Tan, a 2007 high school graduate of CKSC, is 9th placer in the recent May 2011 Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Licensure Examination.
Ervina was a very active student leader, a recipient of Chief Girl Scout Medalist 2007 by former Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, the English Editor of High School Student Council in School Year 2004-2005, a member of the Sabayang Pagbigkas (Group Oratorical) which won the Championship in 2007, and a Math trainee from School Years 2000-2006.

Ervina graduated magna cum laude at DLSU-Manila in December 2010 with the degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. She was the recipient of Carlos Valdes Gold Medal for Excellence in Accountancy Award and Isla Lipana Academic Scholar Program College Level Phase. She was an exchange student from January to April 2009 with the Singapore Management University and obtained a GPA of 3.30 with high merit. In May 2005, she was awarded Most Outstanding Student of Group 16 Division in her Study Tour to Jimei University in Xiamen, Fujian province, China. Ervina was a student intern at the prestigious SGV & Co. from February to March 2010.

　　本院二○○七年度又一校友以Cum Laude榮譽畢業大學，即顏凱莉( Megan Kylie S. Ong)畢業菲聖道頓瑪示大學(University of Santo Tomas)， 榮獲室內設計學士學位( Bachelor of Science in Interior Design)，真是喜事連連。

　　顏凱莉校友自一九九五年進入本院附設泉笙培幼園後，就在本院完成小學及中學的學業。在小學及中學就讀期間，成績年年列班上前十名。因自小對繪畫興趣濃厚，大學就選擇攻讀聖大聞名的室內設計系，六個學期中有四個學期名列院長榮譽榜(Dean’s List)。
