本院中四學生蔡智雄(Aldric Cristobal Reyes)、施宗展(Kennard Sychingping)及陳仁仁（Catherine Tan）三人最近參加萊茜安大學(Lyceum of the Phil. University)所舉辦的「腦力賽」（Brain Quest 2010），聯手擊敗來自三十一所名校的對手，奪得團體冠軍，可賀可喜。
參賽名校包括Manila Science High School、G. Perfecto High School、靈惠學院、Rizal High School、Florentino Torres High School、僑中學院、崇德學校、Jose P. Laurel High School、Elizabeth Seton School、Good Shepherd Cathedral School、Montessori de Manila、Las Pinas East National High School等。

該項比賽分三個項目－科學、數學及普通常識，本院三名代表蔡智雄、施宗展及陳仁仁分別參加上述三項比賽，不只捧得團體冠軍盃，獲得獎金菲幣五千元。個人方面，蔡智雄在科學賽中亦獲得第三名，陳仁仁在普通常識比賽獲得第二名。

又訊：由聖道瑪示大學生物社主辦的「校際生物競賽」(BIOWARS)，本院選派中三學生黃泉賓(Rhys Jansen Pavon）及曾台成(Erik Lance Astillero)出賽，兩人亦聯手奪得季軍。

對 手包括崇德學校、僑中學院、嘉南中學、Fountain International School、Emilio Aguinaldo High School、Holy Trinity School、Paco Catholic School、Espiritu Santo Catholic School、Pasig City. Science High School、San Sebastian College等名校的優秀代表。

Fourth year high school students Aldric Cristoval Reyes, Kennard Sychingping, and Catherine D. Tan emerged champion in the Brain Quest 2010 organized by the College of Arts & Sciences of the Lyceum of the Philippines last January 21, 2010.

This contest is composed of general information, mathemartics and science questions. Thirty one schools participated including Manila Science High School, Philippine Cultural College, Elizabeth Seton, Montessori de Manila, Rizal High School, etc. Philippine Cultural College was second placer, St. Jude Catholic School got the third place and G. Perfecto High School took the fourth place. Other than the coveted team championship, CKSC also got second place in the individual category of general information and third place in science. Their trainers are Mr. Frederick Buiza, Mrs. Cynthia Yap, and Mrs. Judith Penaflor. The contestants won medals and P5,000 cash.

Rhys Jansen Pavon and Erik Lance Astillero, both students from III-1, recently competed in BIOWARS, the UST Biology Society Inter-School Quiz Bee and placed third overall. This contest was held last January 26 (Monday), 2010 at the University of Santo Tomas.

The first place was won by Pasig City Science High School and second place, by St. Jude Catholic School. Other schools who joined this contest include: Philippine Cultural College, Paco Catholic School, San Sebastian College-Recoletos, Hope Christian High School, Holy Trinity School, Espiritu Santo Catholic School, Fountain International School, etc.

The trainer of Erik and Rhys was Mrs. Cristina A. Monsanto.

　　二○一○年正月十六日上午八時半，在大禮堂的一場簡單但卻令人難忘的慶祝會，正式揭開了本院童軍訓練中心創立六十週年鑽禧慶祝活動的序幕。出席者有本院黃美真院長、副院長伊美麗及畢麗、姚院長室助理培華、中學部輔導中心主任兼童軍訓練中心主任葉啟明。

　 　節目先從一部短片開始，講述一九五○年，中正童軍團在創辦人吳宗穆和譚劍波，林前副院長玉崑的協助下誕生。隨著年代的推進，五十年代、六十年代、中正童 軍持續發展。到七十年代因全菲華校菲化，原屬中國的中正童軍團遵政府規定，變成菲律濱童軍總會屬下的組織。之後八十年代、九十年代、到現在二十年代，中正 童軍隊更是蓬勃發展。倒數計時後，由特選的童軍和嶺南武術館人員聯合表演了舞獅。

　 　鑼鼓喧天過後，又是令人一陣驚喜。葉啟明主任伸手按下電腦掃描，配合黃美真院長宣佈六十週年慶祝會正式開始的聲音，童軍六十週年紀念標誌(Logo)也在眾人引首翹盼中從熒幕上的百寶箱中赫然出現。
