In celebration of the Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa this August 2021, the Junior High School, spearheaded by Filipino Learning Area held a series of virtual competitions among students to further heighten their skills in our native languages. 

The theme for this year's celebration is "Filipino at mga Katutubong Wika sa Dekolonisasyon ng Pag-iisip ng mga Pilipino" (Filipino and the Indigenous Peoples' language on the decolonization of the Filipino mindset) which strives to remind students about their language, culture, and identity as a Filipino.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, CKSCians became very creative in their celebration of the event – thanks to the artistic and resourceful teachers and admin of the school.

For the Junior High School students, numerous participants from Grade 7 to Grade 10 took part in different competitions such as Tularawan, Spoken Word Poetry, Masining na Pagkukwento, Tiktok Challenge Competition and Tagis-Talino which has been the main event of the celebration.  

On the final day of the celebration, all Junior High School teachers wore Filipino costumes to remind them of the significance of the affair, wherein selected male and female teachers were awarded as "Natatanging Kasuotang Pilipino" and one learning area was chosen as "Pinakanatatanging Pangkat."

For the first time since the pandemic, Chiang Kai Shek College started virtual activities in celebration of the Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa that was enjoyable and surely one that emphasized the importance of our national and indigenous languages and culture.

(菲律濱中正學院訊)隨著本校研究所的不斷發展壯大，本2021-2022學年度第一學期開始，本校進一步擴大碩士學位課程，開設「企業管理碩士Master of Business Administration MBA」夜班，每週一、三、五，晚上6點到9點上課。

雖然企業管理碩士(MBA)課程已經在週六開設了十多年，但學校決定開設夜校，以迎合希望在工作日下班後繼續深造，並享受週末作為休息日的年輕專業人士和企業高管。

企業管理碩士(MBA)課程提供兩種形式-論文和非論文課程，具體取決於學習者的目標和目的。大多數企業高管會參加非論文課程，因為他們更傾向於學習以擴展他們的知識，了解如何成功運營和擴展業務。 另一方面，大多數教育工作者會參加論文課程，尤其是那些計劃繼續攻讀博士課程的人。

本校的企業管理碩士(MBA)課程在厘務局、內政部和地方政府及國家調查局（BIR、DILG和NBI）的政府官員中很受歡迎。也有許多中國人參加了該課程，特別是因為它面向全球，並且擁有一批行業從業者的合格老師。

最近，MBA課程已獲得「菲律濱校院教育評鑑聯合會(PACUCOA)」優良教育的一級評鑑。

此外，本校也提供另外一個通過PACUCOA一級評鑑的研究生課程，就是教育文學碩士 Master of Arts in Education MAEed，主修教育監督和管理，以及英語教學、科學教育和數學教育。 這些課程也在週六提供。

The celebration of Buwan ng Wika continues amidst the pandemic. The Grade School Department had virtual activities held last August 25-27, 2021. The theme of this year’s celebration, “Filipino at mga Wikang Katutubo sa Dekolonisasyon ng Pag-iisip ng mga Pilipino.”

Students from Grades 1 to 6 and the teachers as well, participated in the celebration. There’s the usual wearing of Filipiniana costume, some with headdress and an added feature of fashionable face masks, still following the Filipiniana theme. At the culminating program, various activities were showcased by the students from different levels. They displayed their amazing talents in music, dance, poetry, arts, speech, and games as a tribute to our identity as a people.

The First Graders had Saya-Wit which is a combination of Filipino dance and song. They also had short storytelling through video presentations. The Second Graders showed their creativity through book mark making which was called “Tatak Ko’y Pilipino”, showing good manners of Filipino children and an Acrostic for “Wikang Filipino”.

The Third Graders displayed their ability to speak the Filipino language fluently and with pride through Tongue Twisters (Pampilipit-Dila). Another activity is Poster Making which showcased the talent of the students in drawing and gave importance to the love of reading Filipino books and literature.

Students in Fourth Graders acted as “Batang Makata” and recited the poem “ Sa Aking mga Magulang” by Jerome Apilla. They also had a Quiz Bee (“Tagisan ng Talino”) through Quizziz , that measures their prior knowledge in language and literature.

Fifth Graders learned more about the native language through Slogan Making with the theme, “ Katutubong Salita, Yaman ng Diwa.”The Sixth Graders had a monologue that made use of the native language in recognizing people who had significant contributions to the history of our country.

A “Language Parade” (Parada ng Wika) became a way for students to use the native language representing the culture and tradition of a particular area.

It was indeed a celebration worth remembering for both the students and teachers because it allowed them to grow, develop and become proud as a Filipino.

菲律賓中正學院訊: 語言是人類進行溝通交流的表達方式。漢語是全球使用人口最多的語言，英語是全球使用最廣泛的語言。而在菲律濱出生的華裔孩子就佔了很大的優勢，除了母語閩南話或廣東話，還會英語和菲律濱話，甚至還有菲律濱的家鄉話，一個人就至少會三、四種語言。就因為語言是非常重要的溝通指令，所以菲律濱制定了每年的八月為“菲語月”。每到八月時分，全菲就會為慶祝“菲語月”忙碌起來，學校各教室更是佈置成菲國的小城鎮，同學們帶來了菲律濱各地小吃，到處都聽得到菲語歌曲、看得到菲國舞蹈，熱鬧極了。現在因疫情關係沒能在學校舉辦活動，但是線上的“菲語月”也舉辦得非常的生動活潑。我們就來看看菲律濱中正學院蒙特梭利班的線上活動。

八月二十五日上午八點一打開視屏，就看見一群穿著菲律濱民族服裝的小朋友歡快地唱著“早安歌”，接著老師就問小朋友今天的日期和天氣，並介紹說今天是慶祝菲律賓濱的“菲語月”，小朋友們都很熱烈的鼓掌著。再來老師展示了一面菲律濱國旗並講解藍色、紅色以及太陽和三顆星星的意義，還有國父“黎薩”。為了讓孩子更深入了解居住國的代表性食物、衣著、動物等，老師出示了代表男女國服的“Barong Tagalog和Baro’t at Saya”,動物如“Kalabaw、Aguila、Bangus”,植物如 “Narra、Mangga、Anahaw和Sampaguita”,食物 “Lechon”，舞蹈 “Tinikling”,交通工具 “Kalesa”,房屋 “Bahay Kubo”,最後是國歌 “Lupang Hinirang”,並讓孩子們聽了一遍。孩子們熱烈的討論著、參與著，學習情緒高漲。

在分組活動時大家學唱菲語歌，小朋友熱真的唱，可愛極了。再來就是小班的芒果拼貼畫、中班的國旗塗色畫、大班的茅草屋塗色畫，小朋友埋頭認真仔細地做，做完還拍照貼上Google Classroom! 作品不輸給名畫家哦！到了該吃點心的時候，老師還教小朋友製“Saba con Yelo”這款小點心，看著小朋友把牛奶和冰塊加入香蕉裡，清甜香脆好吃極了！小朋友邊吃邊笑，吃完休息了二十分鐘，老師在輕鬆愉快的兒歌下結束了輕快的一天課程。小朋友在老師悉心教導下，學會了許多有用的知識！
