IB Students' Christmas Party

The festive season is well and truly underway. Christmas is a time to be merry, and what better way to spend it than with the entire IB?

On December 18, 2020, all students from PYP to DP gathered to experience and enjoy Christmas together. Despite the current pandemic we are facing, IB celebrates togetherness and resiliency as we have Christmas in our homes. The teachers prepared different activities, in which students from all grade levels compete in several games to see which section will come out on top. The winning sections were rewarded with a certificate from IB Coordinators, Ms. Diane Lee and Mr. Gregg Manalo. Afterwards, students reflected on the many changes and experiences they had throughout this year.

Ms. Luzviminda Sim gave her opening remarks for the event. Then, IB Student Council President Tonichi Yasay and PRO Charlaine Lao proceeded to host the event, starting off by having a roll call for all grade levels. Followed by the virtual viewing of the different carols the students have made alongside their respective homeroom advisors, the students began to watch the PYP performances, followed by the MYP and DP. Once all the carols were over, the Student Council gave a report on the “Project Cagayan” donation drive they have been working on to help those affected by Typhoon Ulysses.

Finally, a video containing photos and videos of S.Y. 2020-2021 was presented as it helped students reminisce about the memories they’ve made in IB. Ms. Sara Ma concluded the event with her closing remarks.

中正學院 IB 國際文憑 全體學 雲端聖誕大會

2020年12月18日，中正學院國際文憑部的學生從PYP小學項目、MYP中學項目到DP大學預科課程的學生都聚集在一起體驗並感受聖誕節的氣氛。儘管當前我們面臨著新冠肺炎大流行，但在聖誕節期間，國際文憑IB的全體師生們仍要為團結與韌性而慶祝。此次慶祝活動分成兩部分：首先，由各個部門的老師們帶領同學們參與由他們精心設計的活動和遊戲，並由IB國際文憑部 MYP中學項的兩位主任Diane Lee女士和Gregg Manalo先生頒發線上證書後，學生們也進行了IB國際文憑課程重要的活動：反思！學生們反思了他們今年全年的許多變化和經歷並記錄下來。

活動的第二個高潮是IB 國際文憑家族大集合！所有從PYP幼兒園和小學，MYP中學加上DP 大學預科項目的全體同學和老師們們共247 位團聚在網上， 這也是本院成立IB國際文憑以來第一次別開生面的大集合。活動由DP 大學預科項目的主任施燕妮女士致辭揭開序幕，然後由IB國際文憑的學生會主席劉綺蓉同學和莊秋慧同學進行了所有年級的唱名活動。大家一起觀看PYP， MYP， 和DP各年級學生與他們班主任一起製作的別具創意的聖誕歌曲表演之後，學生會代表盧美廷也針對最近他們協助受颱風尤利西斯影響的人的“卡加延計劃”捐贈活動提供了一份報告， 這讓整個聖誕節活動更有其節慶意義。

活動最後由IB國際文憑學生會播放了一段由老師們提供的平時上課的活動相片所組成的2020-2021學年度同學們在IB國際文憑學習的精彩的回顧影片和本院IB 國際文憑負責人馬儷玲女士的鼓勵話語下結束了別具意義的IB國際文憑聖誕大。

 Christmas in Our Homes: Celebrating Togetherness and Resiliency

Last December 18, the International Baccalaureate Programme faculty celebrated their annual Christmas Party digitally with the theme "Christmas in Our Homes: Celebrating Togetherness and Resiliency". The virtual gathering was attended by the PYP, MYP, and DP teachers, flaunting their Christmas backgrounds behind them and participating in various activities prepared by the organizing team. Ms. Sara Ma and Atty. Danny Chan also celebrated with the IB faculty. The teachers also prepared their Christmas carols which shows that even though we are not physically together, we still make ways to be socially connected with one another.

本月12月18日，中正學院國際文憑課程教師以網上形式慶祝了他們的年度聖誕節派對，主題為“我們家的聖誕節：慶祝團結與韌性”。 PYP小學項目，MYP中學項目和DP大學預科項目的所有老師們都參加了網上聚會，並展現他們精心設計的聖誕節背景，並參與了團隊準備的各種活動。本院院長曾煥賢律師和國際文憑課程負責人馬儷玲女士均和所有IB國際文憑同仁們一起同樂慶祝。各部門老師們還準備了他們的團隊的聖誕歌，這些都展示了即使我們因為新冠肺炎的影響下無法面對面的獻上彼此的關懷，但我們仍堅持在這特別的節日，為彼此 .
