(菲律濱中正學院訊)本校「中正學院音樂及藝術中心」於7月3日上午舉辦主題為「聲動中正」的線上華語歌唱比賽，吸引了36位校園歌唱好手報名參加 。

「聲動中正」線上華語歌唱比賽，係依據參賽者的年級分成4個組別，甲組(10至12年級學生)、乙組(7至9年級學生)、丙組(4至 6年級學生)及 丁組(1至3年級學生)。評分標準分別為：音調30%、聲質20%、音律20% 、藝術20%與發音10%。

比賽開始前，葉啟明副校長致歡迎詞，他說:「本次比賽旨在通過音樂，弘揚中國文化和藝術，鼓勵學生通過在不同領域的應用，如今天的音樂欣賞，進一步加深對普通話的熟練度。我們都知道現在中文的重要性，尤其是在我們袓國成為世界上最大的經濟體和產品和服務市場。在這種情況下，難怪我們的菲律濱兄弟在學習我們的語言和文化方面比我們更加勤奮。」

他還分享兩句話：第一個是來自愛因斯坦：「如果我不是物理學家，我可能會成為一名音樂家。 我經常在音樂中思考。 我在音樂中過著我的白日夢；從音樂的角度看待我的生活。」另外一句話是世界上最偉大的老師孔子所說的：「音樂產生一種人性離不開的愉悅感。」

接著， 李佩瑩主任向大家介紹本次比賽評審，三位在菲華樂壇享有盛譽的校友，即有「菲律濱張學友」美譽的楊少森老師、現任「菲律濱鋼琴教師協會會長」的史習恆老師及僑界著名歌手的林燕燕老師。

隨後，參賽者就一一播放先前自行錄製的演唱視頻。他們演唱的著名國語歌曲有「掌聲響起」、「聽海」、「囚鳥」、「月亮代表我的心」、「童話」、「甜蜜蜜」、「恰似你的溫柔」、「月琴」、「明天會更好」、「幸福的臉」等。每位參賽者的美妙歌聲使線上觀眾為之陶醉、大飽耳福；而三位評審老師都很專心地在聆聽與觀看他們的表情，並依據依據評分標準給分。

比賽最後由主持人許利文老師宣布柯馨雅、貝艾莉、陳清鑽及郭凱盛分別拿下甲 、乙、 丙及丁組歌王或歌后頭銜。

在結束之前， 葉啟明副校長向兩位音樂及藝術中心的顧問--陳琳琳及史習恆老師致謝他們的眾多專業建議。隨著 CAMPA 變得更加穩定，因時間上暇不及顧，他們將辭去顧問的身份，但承諾會繼續協助音樂及藝術中心，需要時隨時可以尋求他們的建議。

整個活動在曾煥賢校長頒贈感謝狀予楊少森、史習恆及林燕燕等三位評審後，在溫馨氣氛下圓滿結束。

(菲律濱中正學院訊)本校學生在 5 月和 6 月舉行的三場國際在線數學競賽中再度出擊，並獲得了無數榮譽。

三年級學生李靜琳（Jenelle Nyka G. Lee）在「2021年新加坡和亞洲學校數學奧林匹克（SASMO）」中獲得銀獎。在她參加的組別中，排名全國第12位，全球第74位。

在另一場比賽中，十年級學生吳俊賢（Czander Vaughn Wesley C. Go）在由「數學與計算教育中心（CEMC）」為全球中學生舉辦的「2021 Cayley競賽」中獲得傑出獎(Distinction Award)。

除上述兩場競賽，其實，本校最大的收穫是在「香港國際數學奧林匹克競賽——初賽(Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad - Heat Round)」中，4名學生獲得金獎，4名獲得銀獎，5名獲得銅獎，5 名獲得佳績獎(Merit Award)。

李靜琳和吳俊賢均獲得金獎；同樣的，三年級學生洪漢傑（Chace Akio R. Dante）和十年級學生范立盛（Kean Railey F. Chan Huan）也獲得金獎。

銀獎的四名獲得者分別是：五年級學生王俊傑（Ron Eizen F. Ong Tan）、七年級學生蔡光儀（Raphael Jobonavent Herrera）、林煌富（Andrew C. Lim Un）及陳畇澕（Sean Derrick C. Chen）。

銅獎的五名獲得者分別是一年級學生林奕宏（Audric Liuz T. Guevarra）、三年級學生林奕勤（Andrei Liam T. Guevarra）、五年級學生柯曜（Tyron Lance A. dela Peña）、七年級學生倫仁傑（ Josiah Cody Y. Ang)及八年級學生施瑾翔 (Kent S. Co)。

獲得佳績獎的是四年級學生楊廷恩（Jeremiah Brandon U. Yu）、葉巧瑜（Kendra Amber C. David）、莊豐勝（Paul Anderson C. Ongchan）、五年級學生林涵（Gerald H. Lin）及八年級學生 鄭心愛 (Airabelle T. Ching)。

由於參賽學生表現突出，在香港國際數學奧林匹克競賽——初賽中，本校菲律濱中正學院在菲律濱全國學校中排名第八位。

祝賀上述學生為校爭光，期望他們繼續保持優良出色的表現。

The CKS College Office for Continuing Professional Education organized a 3-day Virtual In-Service Training Webinar from June 28-30, 2021 with the theme, “Sustaining Authenticity in Pedagogy, Assessment, and Communication with Stakeholders in Online Learning.” The INSET was organized to ensure that all faculty members continue strengthening pedagogical practices to further heighten their students’ achievement in online distance learning. Moreover, it targeted the overwhelming number of unfamiliar issues they still encounter after a year of implementing the new set up of learning. The faculty members participated in sessions that tackled various topics such as managing virtual classrooms, administering online exams, maintaining authenticity and fairness in evaluating students, and building a stronger relationship with parents.

The INSET 2021 was divided into AM and PM sessions. During the AM sessions, the OCPE has invited speakers from prestigious universities who are experts in the field. CKS College would like to extend its utmost gratitude to the following speakers who discussed the following topics:

• Dr. Marilyn Balagtas – “Simply Authentic: Designing Assessments for Meaningful Learning Outcomes in the New Norms of Education”

During the PM sessions, the OCPE proudly launched CKSC-INSET Teachers’ Spotlight, where selfless teacher-speakers from each department shared with everyone the best practices they have discovered after a year of implementing online learning, with a focus on navigating online learning platforms and activities.  The following teachers are:

The OCPE ended the 3-day webinar by conducting a quick survey about the Training Needs Assessment of the CKS College Faculty. The TNA will be used as guidance of the OCPE to consider conducting the webinar topics that the teachers see as more urgent and beneficial for them. Dr. Imelda C. Nery, Head of OCPE, and Mr. Aldrin Antonio, Asst. Head of OCPE, also expressed their gratitude to Dr. Rolance Chua (VP for Academics) and Atty. Danny Chan (President) and other administrators who continually support the PDs arranged by the OCPE. They would also like to thank the steering team who ensured the smooth flow of the programs:

(菲律濱中正學院訊)一次次突出的表現和成功，本校中學2012年校友，「菲律濱撐竿跳高王」蔡華強”（Ernest John Obiena），本校以他為榮，國家也為他感到驕傲！

6 月 27 日在德國勒沃庫森（Leverkusen）舉行的「真正的運動員經典賽 True Athletes Classics」中，蔡華強校友 與 2016 年奧運會冠軍Thiago Braz並列榜首，兩人在第二次嘗試中都跳出了 5.80 米的成績。

六天後 ，在「2021年Irena Szewinska Memorial / Bydgoszcz Cup）盃：世界田徑洲際巡迴賽（World Athletics Continental Tour -波蘭金牌（Gold in Poland））中，蔡華強又打破了自己的全國室內撐桿跳高紀錄，在比賽中獲得銀牌。

7 月 3 日，蔡華強繼續在奧運會前的一場比賽中表現穩健 - 在瑞典Bottnaryd舉行的「 Taby Stav Gala Street 撐竿跳高比賽」中獲得金牌。

在這三場比賽之前，他還分別在6月3日瑞典哥德堡（Gothenburg）的 「Folksam大獎賽」，以及6月12日德國莫辛根（Mossingen )的「Jump & Fly跳和飛國際田徑比賽」中獲得金牌，並在荷蘭亨格洛（Hengelo）「FBK運動會」中獲得銀牌 。

7月5日，他又在瑞典的首都斯德哥爾摩（Stockholm）舉行的「Bauhaus-Galan Wanda Diamond League萬達鑽石聯賽」中獲得第四名。

蔡華強校友，第一位真正獲得東京奧運會參賽資格的本國菲律濱運動員。恭喜你！
