Senior High School and College online summer classes shall commence on June 25. Only IB and Grades 4 to 10 Online Classes shall commence on July 1. Regular classes and Distance Learning for Grades 1 to 3 shall commence on August 24. Do not worry yet about the assessment slips for regular classes, as these shall be sent accordingly.

Grade 3 students in School Year 2019-2020 who shall take a leave of absence and temporarily stop schooling in School Year 2020-2021 shall be admitted to Grade 4 in School Year 2021-2022. The same shall apply for other grade levels.

Online classes utilize synchronous interaction where both teacher and student are online at the same time. The internet connection should be stable for both parties. On the other hand, for distance learning, the teacher shall create and send instruction videos, require completion and submission of assignments and performance tasks. The student can view these videos and complete performance tasks at his convenience. Students who don’t have internet connection may coordinate with the teacher to send instruction materials and resources via USB or as printouts/ photocopies. These can be sent via courier to the student. Delivery fees shall be shouldered by the parent.

When and how will the enrollment be?
Register through this LINK. Parents will receive the assessment form via e-mail. Please visit this PAGE for the enrollment procedure. Alternately, parents may download the assessment slip for their child’s grade level from this PAGE and follow the payment and confirmation instructions HERE.
Will there be discount on tuition and fees for Distance Learning classes, AY 2020-2021?
Tuition Fees for Distance Learning classes shall be PhP 10,000.00 lower (per semester) than that for physical classes.
What will be the schedule? What if both parents are working on a daily basis?
Since Distance Learning Program will utilize asynchronous interaction, parents can adjust their time based on their availability.
What will be the official platform for Distance Learning classes?
DLP will be using Google Classroom.
Will the school prescribe the usage of textbooks or e-books?
The school shall recommend the use of textbooks but we are still waiting for the availability of e-books from the different publishers.
Will tasks, activities and quizzes be provided and given by the teacher (in preparation for exams)?
Task and activities will be provided by the teachers through Google Classroom.
What happens if a pupil enrolled in a distance learning class for the first term decides to shift to a face-to-face class by second term?
The parents can request to transfer to a physical class through the registrar's office before the end of the first term. They will need to pay the PhP 10,000 tuition fee difference.
How will the periodic exams be administered?
The periodical examination can be given virtually, the school will issue guidelines to manage the examination properly or if the situation improves it can be given physically to the learners.
Will there still be three subjects in Chinese?
Yes, there are still 3 Chinese subjects.
What is the difference of PYP vs. Distance Learning?
The DLP is same as the regular program but done virtually while PYP has a different teaching philosophy.
What is the schedule of the Saturday consultation? Can there be a weekday consultation?
The schedule of the Saturday consultation will be arranged by the teachers to manage the time properly while the teachers will also create group chat to address concerns immediately.
When will classes start?
The classes will start on August 24, 2020 as mandated by the Department of Education.
How will the school administer MAPEH classes?
MAPEH classes for Grades 1 to 3 will be integrated with the Science subject.
Are all faculty members equipped in preparing for a distance learning module?
All teachers are currently participating in training programs related to the new normal in education.
How will the set up be if a pupil's level in English is different from Chinese?
Since the DLP is for grades 1-3, students will be leveled in based on their age and proficiency level.
Will there be a deadline for submission of tasks and activities?
The teachers will announce through Google Classroom or group chat the deadlines for the submission of task and activities
Will president / alumni financial assistance still be provided to its recipients?

What is difference of this Distance Learning Program from the program of Grade 4 onwards?
The DLP shall solely utilize asynchronous interaction, wherein teachers will be sending pre-recorded teaching videos and materials to parents while Grade 4 to 10 learners will be using both synchronous (Online classes) and asynchronous interaction for their lessons.
