由澳洲數學信託基金會(Australian Mathematics Trust)主辦之全球澳洲數學能力檢定（Australian Mathematics Competition, AMC）日前公佈成績，中正學院共有五名學生榮登榜上。
澳洲數學能力檢定於一九七八年首次舉辦，和針對少數精英的數學競賽(如國際奧林匹亞數學競賽)不同，是一個適合普通大眾的數學能力檢定活動，重視數學課程結構及數學教學活動的重要性，提供學生學習數學自我檢視的機會。
Several CKSC students from the grade school and high school levels figured impressively in the recent 2008 Australian Mathematics Competition of the Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT)
These students are Henry Jefferson Morco, first year high school student and Dann Julius Tan, senior high school student who are Prize Awardees, and Raenelle Ean Ngo, grade six pupil; Mathew Ng, second year high school student; and Aldric Cristoval Reyes, 3rd year high school student who are High Distinction Awardees.
An awarding ceremony will be conducted by the Mathematics Trainers’ Guild (MTG) Philippines on October 15 (Wednesday), 9 a.m. at the Manila Grand Opera House to honor these students from different schools like St. Jude Catholic School, Philippine Science High School, UNO High School, Xavier School, Grace Christian College, Science Education Institute, St. Paul College-Pasig, Colegio de San Agustin, etc. No less than Dr. Peter Taylor, Executive Director of the Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT) will acknowledge the achievements of these remarkable students.
由菲律濱中國商會及中國駐菲大使館文化處聯合舉辦的「故國情華語歌唱賽」經近兩個月的選拔，終於圓滿落幕。其中少年組前五名全落入中正人囊中，令人驚嘆。
中華文化博大精深，弘揚之道可從歌唱華語歌曲入手，因而中國商會聯合大使館舉辦此場有意義比賽，參加競選者非常踴躍。
參賽者須先經過試唱、始得進入選拔，經汰選後，最優十名再進入總決賽，關卡重重，因而勝出者可說是優中之優。
菲律濱海天社所舉辦的二○○八年度雙十佳節「國語歌曲歌唱比賽」已於日前舉行，本學院參賽代表又如往年一樣，表現優異，共有四名學生榮登獎榜單。
海天社雙十節國語歌唱比賽是頗受華校矚目的歌唱賽事之一，參加學生非常踴躍，競爭激烈。
一般歌唱比賽講究音色、音準、咬字與發音等歌唱技巧、對情感的詮釋和台風、儀態，也一樣不可忽視。此次比賽歌曲除幼兒組外，其他各組限唱藝術歌曲，難度之高，可想而知。
菲律濱國家教師學院(National Teachers College)舉辦的「智力大挑戰(Brain Buster)」於九月下旬舉行，每間學校派出的代表都是強中之強，競爭非常激烈，最後，冠軍落入本院施瑋琪(Abigail Crystel Sy)手中，為本院亦為華校爭光，可賀可喜！
參賽學校有崇德學校、僑中學院、嘉南中學、V. Mapa High School、Abada High School、Avancena High School、Tondo High School、Sergio Osmena Sr. High School、San Sebastian College、Paco Catholic School、能仁中學、Torres High School、Christian Academy of Manila、Calderon Integrated High School、Quirino High School、Villamor High School、Laurel High School、Mathay Sr. High School、Kalayann High School等廿餘所學校。
