從小即在繪畫上表現出不凡的才藝，在比賽中是常勝軍，為自己累積無數獎盃的吳嘉欣，是一個僅十五歲的小女生，最近在短短的兩個月內，又摘取了六頂桂冠，為本學院也為華校爭光。
英國網站主辦的「Look and Learn」國際繪畫賽，吳嘉欣以一副樹的房子Tree House，奪得成人年組首獎。
在Manila Bulletin暨SM聯合主辦的父親節繪畫賽，以一幅父子情深奪得第三名。畫中小孩子在練習鋼琴，旁邊有雙手在指導，是父親的手，深深感動了評審。
本學院前身中正中學第十七屆校友、國際著名太空科學家謝克强博士七月廿一日（星期一）上午十時應邀回母校演講。中正學院中三、中四的學生們有幸聽到了一次與眾不同的講學。
謝克強博士一九五八年畢業于中正中學，如今年逾古稀卻仍然精神矍鑠、神采奕奕。他對早年在中正的中學時光很是懷念，在那一段與他終生事業追求密不可分的 歲月裡，他確立了自己的價值觀。因此，他更加關注青年人價值觀的確立，關注當代的青少年特別是中學生朋友們對科學和真理的態度。他的演講題目就是「青年人 的價值觀」。
Johnny Ke Chang Hsieh, Ph.D., an alumnus of CKS Senior High School Class of 1958 (valedictorian) and currently an internationally famous NASA researcher and physics professor at Arizona University gave a lecture on “Values System for the Youth Today” on July 21 (Monday), 9:30 a.m. at the CKSC Auditorium to 3rd and 4th year high school students.

黃金來(Brian Nicole Uy)同學接觸魔術方塊僅僅八個月，而且是無師自通，靠著驚人的領悟力，已開始在這神奇的領域中嶄露頭角，在最近數次比賽中擊敗了老練的對手。
Jillie Rivero Tan, an alumna of CKSC from preschool to high school (Class of 2004) recently landed 8th Place in the June 2008 Government Licensure Examination for Pharmacy. According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), 631 out of 1,128 (56%) passed the exam. Jillie, who finished her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree at the University of Santo Tomas this March 2008, has done internships at the Doctor’s Pharmaceuticals, Philippine General Hospital, Metropolitan Medical Center, and Mercury Drugstore. During her studies, she was a dean’s lister for several semesters and had attended numerous seminars related to her program. Jillie is the daughter of the former Mr. Vicente Ang Tan and Mrs. Nena Rivero Tan.
