「二○○八年全菲十大傑出童軍獎」日前揭曉，楊輝宏(Dann Julius S. Tan)雀屏中選，再次證明本學院童子軍確實不同凡響，年年榜上有名。
全菲童軍總會除一九九六年因忙於慶祝成立六十週年而暫停選拔，自一九九四年開始，年年舉辦是項選拔，而本校童軍也是年年榜上有名，至目前為止，十二屆選 拔中已有十八位童軍上榜，即：葉金泰(1994)、莊宏義(1995)、陳文龍(1997)、黃善財(1998)、呂良堃及許俊彥(1999)、洪肇茂 (2000)，施幸利(2001)，呂榮傑(2002)、何敬志與李永福(2004)、蔡尚熹及黃松年(2005)、洪榮裕及莊宏才(2006)、陳志宇 及劉德華(2007)、楊輝宏(2008)。其中葉金泰、洪肇茂、施幸利、蔡尚熹及陳志宇更是榮獲第一。
由夏寶公司SHARP Corporation 及菲律賓數學教育研究會(Mathematics Trainers’ Guild , Philippines)聯合主辦的「第一屆數學賽」(Sharp-MTG Trail & Problem Solving Competition)，共有卅九所學校參加，本院代表隊榮獲第三名，值得慶賀。
是項賽事規定參賽學校須選派中一至中四各一人組成隊伍參加競賽。比賽分兩階段進行。初賽假中正學院舉行，大決賽在靈惠學院舉行。

These students are Henry Jefferson Morco, first year high school student and Dann Julius Tan, senior high school student who are Prize Awardees, and Raenelle Ean Ngo, grade six pupil; Mathew Ng, second year high school student; and Aldric Cristoval Reyes, 3rd year high school student who are High Distinction Awardees.
An awarding ceremony will be conducted by the Mathematics Trainers’ Guild (MTG) Philippines on October 15 (Wednesday), 9 a.m. at the Manila Grand Opera House to honor these students from different schools like St. Jude Catholic School, Philippine Science High School, UNO High School, Xavier School, Grace Christian College, Science Education Institute, St. Paul College-Pasig, Colegio de San Agustin, etc. No less than Dr. Peter Taylor, Executive Director of the Australian Mathematics Trust (AMT) will acknowledge the achievements of these remarkable students.
由澳洲數學信託基金會(Australian Mathematics Trust)主辦之全球澳洲數學能力檢定（Australian Mathematics Competition, AMC）日前公佈成績，中正學院共有五名學生榮登榜上。
澳洲數學能力檢定於一九七八年首次舉辦，和針對少數精英的數學競賽(如國際奧林匹亞數學競賽)不同，是一個適合普通大眾的數學能力檢定活動，重視數學課程結構及數學教學活動的重要性，提供學生學習數學自我檢視的機會。
菲律濱海天社所舉辦的二○○八年度雙十佳節「國語歌曲歌唱比賽」已於日前舉行，本學院參賽代表又如往年一樣，表現優異，共有四名學生榮登獎榜單。
海天社雙十節國語歌唱比賽是頗受華校矚目的歌唱賽事之一，參加學生非常踴躍，競爭激烈。
一般歌唱比賽講究音色、音準、咬字與發音等歌唱技巧、對情感的詮釋和台風、儀態，也一樣不可忽視。此次比賽歌曲除幼兒組外，其他各組限唱藝術歌曲，難度之高，可想而知。
