本學院為進一步落實「培養華裔青年」的辦學宗旨，栽培專業華文教師，協助華文教育發展，二○○四年四月五日，與福建師範大學簽訂了「華文教育交流與合作的意向書」後，六月正式開辦「2+2華文師範教育系」。
為鼓勵品學兼優之年輕人從事華文教育工作，凡經學校推薦的優秀生，同意畢業後在菲國任何華校(不拘於本校)服務至少三年者，可享受學雜費全免，外加每月五千披索的生活津貼。
六月十二日菲獨立節，是菲國舉國也是本院舉校騰歡的日子，出爐的第四屆全國傑出青年 (4th Pambansang Gawad sa Ulirang Kabataan) 得獎名單中，劉德華（PAUL JULIAN G. HAO）校友名列榜首，是繼李永福（2005年校友）之後，第二位為本學院爭得無限榮譽，也是私校唯一、華校唯一得獎者。頒獎典禮在倫禮沓公園剛啟用的的 Sentro K3 Exhibit Area 隆重舉行。
Paul Julian Hao, Valedictorian of CKSC High School Class 2008 and one of the Ten Outstanding Boy Scouts of the Philippines for 2007 was recently declared as one of the five winners in the Fourth Pambansang Gawad sa Ulirang Kabataan by the Department of Education over 31 high school nominees from public and private schools held at Luneta Park last June 12, 2008. DepEd Secretary Jesli Lapuz, Undersecretary Vilma Labrador, Assistant Secretary Jonathan Malaya and NCAA Chair Cecil Guidote-Alvarez were some of the key persons who witnessed the awarding ceremonies.
In celebration of its 48th Anniversary this September, PSBank, a member of the Metrobank group, will provide scholarship grant worth Php 580,000 to 48 underprivileged but deserving students for this school year 2008-2009.
To be known as PSBank Educational Assistance Program, the grant aims to provide access to education to 38 grade school and/or high school students from the member schools in the Metro Manila area of the Association of Chinese-Filipino Schools in the Philippines (ACFSP), and 10 college students from Chiang Kai Shek College. Each ACFSP scholar will be given financial assistance of P10,000 per year while each CKSC scholar will receive assistance of P10,000 per semester.
本學院音樂研習中心訂於五月卅一日(星期六)下午六時半將假美菲人壽保險公司音樂廳(PHILAMLIFE AUDITORIUM)隆重推出「愛樂之約」MUSICALE RENDEZVOUS@20，以答謝廿年來對本音樂中心熱心支持的社會人士和家長。
這一場別開生面的音樂會(Instrumental and Vocal Ensemble)，是用四架鋼琴、一架電子琴、一架電子鋼琴clavinova及笛子等樂器演奏，或獨奏、或合奏、或雙重奏，配合優美悅耳動聽的歌曲， 或獨唱、或雙重唱、或合唱的鉅形演出，精彩纷呈。
