Aldric Cristoval Reyes of IV-5, Geovin Dexter Uy of III-1, and Henry Jefferson Morco of II-2 were recently declared Champion in the Team Category in the “Survival of the Fittest IV” Inter-School Science Competition sponsored by the Pre-Medical Society of U.P. and held at the Palma Hall and EEE Building in U.P. Diliman last February 13, 2010.

Students from the National Capital Region as well as from Regions III and IV gathered together and engaged in healthy competitions in the fields of Biology, chemistry, and physics. Henry Jefferson Morco was the Top Scorer in Biology. Their prizes included P10,000 cash, a trophy, and medals. Their trainers were Mrs. Cristina Monsanto and Mrs. Cynthia Yap.

Other schools which participated in this competition were: Manila Science High School, Southville International School, Don Bosco Technical Institute of Makati, Grace Christian College, the Science High Schools of Regions III and IV, etc.

本院三名學生應Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers-Junior Chapter of Luzon之邀，參加「Chematics」，一項集化學、數學及物理的競賽，榮獲季軍。

這三名學生為中四的葉怡萍（Jasmine Arielle Yap）、中三的黃泉賓(Rhys Jansen Pavon)及曾台成( Erik Lance Astillero)。

在十四所學校各選派出三名學生的眾多好手中，本院三名代表沉著應戰，結果沒有空手而歸，奪得季軍。

元月廿三日，由菲律濱國家科技部-軟體工程研究所屬下的數學會(Mathematical Society of the Philippines. DOST-SEI)假亞典耀大學主辦的「第十二屆數學奧林匹克賽(12nd Philippine Mathematical Olympiad)」大決賽，蔡智雄(Aldric Cristoval Reyes)榮獲季軍。

在二○○九年十一月廿一日地區賽時，蔡智雄榮獲地區冠軍，而得以晉入大決賽。大決賽時，在數學精英環伺中，蔡智雄沉著應戰，終奪得季軍。

該項數學奧賽為數學界一項大賽事，數年來本院均選派學生參加，且年年榜上有名，此次比賽，蔡智雄亦未例外，再次為本院締造佳績。

又訊：該場賽事後三天，蔡智雄又再出征，並再締佳績，且更上層樓，榮獲冠軍。

元月廿七日，在菲律濱科學中學(Philippine Science High School)進行的校際數學賽「Intersholastic Math Competition」中，蔡智雄(Aldric Cristoval Reyes)、柯芸明(Aibeemae Cua)及施宗展( Kennard Sychingping)三人聯手摘得冠軍盃。而在個人方面，蔡智雄又奪得冠軍。個人團體，中正兩樣均拔得頭籌，令全場矚目。

本院學生靈敏的思維及卓越的計算能力，是以接二連三在數學競賽中獲得佳績。

應嘉南中學邀請，本學院派出四名學生參加「首屆學科比賽First Academic Bowl」，在十幾所華校競逐中奪得亞軍。

是項比賽顧名思義，涵蓋科學、數學及一般常識，範圍廣泛。本院一年級選派施嘉德(Bryce Spencer Batula)、二年級選派陳貴銘(Henry Jefferson Morco)、三年級選派黃田貴(Geovin Uy)、四年級選派蔡智雄(Aldric Cristoval Reyes)出戰。

四人同心，其力斷金。本院四名學生同心協力的結果，捧回亞軍盃。在個人方面蔡智雄及陳貴銘更分別奪得四年級及二年級選手中最高分的佳績，值得讚揚。
