Congratulations to Mishka Sy (施惠敏) of MYP-8IA for winning the gold medal in the 200m Backstroke, and silver medals in the 100m Backstroke and 200m Individual Medley during the Philippine National Age Group Swimming Championships held at the Davao del Norte Sports and Tourism Complex in Tagum City last March 29 to 31, 2019.

Her feat makes her a potential Philippines representative to the 43rd South East Asian Age Group Swimming Championships to be held in Cambodia on June 28 to 30, 2019.

Congratulations to the CKS College Track and Field Team for its exemplary performance during the Filipino-Chinese Amateur Athletic Federation (FCAAF) Track and Field National Invitational Meet held in Lingayen, Pangasinan last March 30 and 31, 2019.

Ria Nabalan - UAAP's only 80-0 player

Congratulations to CKS high school batch 2014 alumna Ria Joy J. Nabalan for having been acknowledged as the only 80-0 player in the history of the Universities Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).

Nabalan was part of the CKS Lady Blue Dragons that emerged as champion in the Women's Basketball League (2012 and 2013), Manila Meet (2012 and 2013), NCR Meet (2012 and 2013), Palarong Pambansa (2012 and 2013) - Most Valuable Player, WNCAA (2013) - Most Valuable Player.

She also won more than fifteen medals as a track and field athlete in 2012 and 2013 during the United Track and Field Newcomers Meet, National Chinese Track and Field Meet, Palarong Maynila, among others.

She was also part of the National University Lady Bulldogs champion team during the UAAP seasons 77 in 2014 (Rookie of the Year), 78 in 2015, 79 in 2016, 80 in 2017 (Mythical 5 selection), and 81 in 2018. She also was part of the champion team in the 3x3 basketball competition during UAAP Seasons 80 in 2018 and 81 in 2019, and Last Man Standing Competition in 2018.

Singapore Scholarship fro Jet Chong

Congratulations to CKS senior high school grade 12 HUMMS student Jet Stephen C. Chong (莊瑞源) for having been awarded a full scholarship at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of the National University of Singapore. He will be pursuing a Bachelor of Music (Honours) in Piano Performance degree starting School Year 2019-2020.

Jet went through an online application process, and went to Singapore last February for a live audition, an interview, and written examinations.

The scholarship grant will cover tuition fees, compulsory university fees (student and health services fees), housing and general stipend for living allowance for the duration of his four years of study in Singapore.
