CKS Girls Volleyball Team Wins 2nd Place in Cherifer Tourney


The CKS high school girls volleyball team won 2nd Place in the Cherifer AXN Volleyball @ the Mall held last September 5 and 6, 2015 at Robinson's Place Manila. The competition was participated in by 32 schools.

In the same competition, Mikaela Ramirez also won as most valuable player and best attacker, while team mate Alyssandra Ong won the best blocker award.

The team was recognized during the junior high school flag ceremony on September 8 by CKS College President, Dr. Dory Poa.

Mr. Kirk Ong coached the team.

Clyde Ang Awarded Outstanding Student of Manila 2015


Congratulations to grade 10 student Clyde Wesley Si Ang for having been awarded as one of the Outstanding High School Students of Manila for 2015. The award was presented by Manila Mayor Joseph Ejercito Estrada last June 16 at the Grand Opera Hotel in celebration of the 444th Araw ng Maynila.

CKS High School Alumnus Jayson Kiong Tops 2015 Philippine Watercube Contest


CKSians took 4 of the top 5 places in the Philippine competition of the 2015 Watercube Cup Overseas Chinese Singing Competition last June 14 at the FFCCCII auditorium. High school batch 2009 alumnus Jayson Alexander Kiong (黃俊雄) emerged as champion, while recent high school graduate Herc Ang (洪漢盛) took 3rd place. Rounding up the top 5 were Erika Chan (曾怡妮) from grade 10-A who won 4th Place, and high school batch 2015 alumna Jemilyn Kaw (許利文) who bagged 5th Place.

 

2 of 3 Musikahan Winners are CKSians


Congratulations to Erika Y. Chan and Herc C. Ang for winning 2nd and 3rd Places, respectively, in the high school division of the Musikahan 2014 organized by the Manila Downtown YMCA Club last November 16.

They both received cash prizes and certificates for their feat.

Peace Pals Art Contest Winners Announced


Congratulations to the CKSians who won in the 17th Annual Peace Pals International Arts Exhibition and Awards 2014. The winners and finalists were chosen from thousands of works of art drawn by children all over the globe. The theme for the competition was “Right to Peace”.

Trisha Danielle K. Sia (5B) - Finalist, Age 8-10 category
