CKSC Math Whiz Kid Gets Perfect Score in 2013 Australian Math Competition

Clyde Wesley S. Ang received the Peter O'Halloran Award during the Philippines' awarding ceremonies of the 2013 Australian Mathematics Competition last October 22 at the Manila Grand Opera Hotel.
The award was given to him for being one of only 5 students from the Philippines and one of only 27 students worldwide who garnered perfect score in the competition.
In another competition known as the 2013 Science International Competitions and Assessments for Schools, six students also received various honors. Clyde Wesley Ang and Andrew Brandon Ong earned the High Distinction Award. Hans Jarett Ong, Trisha Danielle Sia, and Terence Brian Tsai won Distinction Award, and Ryan Jericho Sy got the Credit Award.

Joining its first-ever competitive stint as an official school team, the Chiang Kai Shek College Wushu team made the school proud by bagging the overall championship title in the 2013 FCAAF Inter-School Youth Traditional Martial Arts Competition held last October 6, 2013 at Robinson's Place Ermita. The team hauled twelve gold, ten silver, and six bronze medals en route to becoming overall champion. The boys also swept the overall titles in both junior and senior male divisions.
The Seniors' Intersection Basketball Tournament, organized by the CKSC Seniors’ Committee, culminated with an exciting championship game last September 30 at the gymnasium of the main campus. Mighty3 (IV-3) and Exorsix (IV-6) earned the right to meet each other after a series of matches involving the nine sections in one of the most-awaited events of the graduating class.
CKSC-FBAS' Ecopreneur Trading and ZIPI Bags are among more than 30 exhibitors at the "CLICK - A Showcase of Filipino SME's" Trade Fair at the Lucky Chinatown Mall, on October 4-6, 2013. CLICK was organized by the Chinese-Filipino Business Club, in cooperation with the Department of Trade and Industry.
