中正學院特開設線上武術課指導強身健體學習中華文化


(菲律濱中正學院訊)本校向來重視學生的智能、人格品行和身心的全面發展,以德、智、体、群、美五育為教育宗旨,培養出具有中華文化氣質的國家棟梁。

為弘揚並傳承中華文化,除為十一年級和十二年級的學生在「實用漢語」這一科開設「中華料理課」外,本校又特別開設了「線上學武術」這一課程。須知除了有靈活的頭腦外,還必須有強健的體魄,尤其是在疫情肆虐的當下,擁有強健的體魄無疑就多了一份抵抗病毒的優勢。有鑒于此,深具遠見的中正領導把「武術」列入了線上學習課程,使線上學習更爲豐富有趣。武術在古代被視爲對敵的防禦技術,如今是國際知名的運動項目,在2020年1月8日,武術被列入第四届青年奥林匹克运动会正式比赛项目。 

本校的武術指導老師施俊仁先生亦是本校九○年代電腦系校友。施教練年少習武,中學生時代就已是嶺南國術舘和菲律賓武術協會的成員。在擔任本院武術指導老師期間,帶領學生參加過無數次國内外武術比賽,榮獲佳績。在他帶領下,本校武術隊也經常活躍于重要的喜慶場合,如:校慶、春節、獨立節等各種慶典,為觀衆帶來精彩無比的武術表演。

這次的武術課,施教練將為初習武學生帶來「螳螂拳」和「五步拳」,拳法簡單易學。在教學時,施教練將使用普通話和閩南話作爲教學用語, 使學生在練習武術時亦不忘聼習我們華人子弟的基本母語。

相信在施俊仁教練的帶領下,學生不但能練就強健體魄並習得中華民族的優良文化。

中正學院新冠疫情間成功開啟各年級網課


 

菲律濱中正學院訊:2020年是不同尋常的一年,突然爆發的新冠肺炎疫情,改變了人們日常生活的許多事物。因疫情所致,學生到學校學習亦受到影響。但是學習新技能、擴充新知識不能因疫情而停頓。在迫切的需求下,“網課”應運而生。   

“ 網課”對許多老師來說是一項新挑戰。老師們緊張、擔憂,怕自己不能勝任如此艱巨的任務。就在此時,學校領導們展現了無比的魄力,帶領老師們學習網課並細心指導,老師們則利用兩個月的假期,用Google Meet和Zoom的平臺互相切磋、互相學習。在緊鑼密鼓的籌備下,老師們終於信心滿滿地或在6月25日(大學、高中),或在7月1日(小學四年級至十年級)開始了他們的第一場“網課-線上教學”。踴躍報名網課的學生將近兩千名。

 這一天,中、英文老師或在家、或在學校通過Zoom或Google Meet平臺,見到了可愛的學生們。無論老師或學生都對這種新的學習方式感到新奇,大家都充滿了學習和探索的慾望。下課後,許多老師紛紛說:“上網課真有趣!”

「好的開始,就是成功的一半」。在學校領導們、校長辦公室、電腦部、訓導處、人事部、學生事務處等各部門教職員的鼎力相助下,這次的網課可說是已收穫了可喜可賀的成果。

7月1日成功的網課,相信能讓家長們對網課更有信心,因為網課並不比實體課遜色,網課能夠學習更多的電腦操作,各種應用軟體,網路學習也更加有趣。

 8月24四日高中和大學的線上教學,培幼園、小學一年級至十年級的遠端離課教學也將啟動。目前報名在持續中。

另者:學校向來關注教職員工的身心健康,嚴格保持校園的整潔衛生,日常如此,疫情下更是如此。為保證教職員的安全,分批進校工作的教職員按嚴格的要求,必須戴口罩、測體溫、保持社交距離、勤洗手。學校的工作人員也時不時地噴灑消毒噴霧,清潔校園內外環境,使到校工作的教職員倍感安心,提高工作效率

菲律濱中正學院感謝疫情期間, 校友總會贈教職員防疫保護品


( 菲律濱中正學院訊) 六月廿五日(星期三),本校校友總會由陳建衛會長及李錦思副會長、陳璫璫副會長、吳麗月副會長、施純永副會長及其他執行委員為代表,向本校近500名專、兼職教職員,贈送了防疫保護品,並由葉啟明副校長代表接受,本校在此特致上萬二分之謝意。

在新冠肺炎疫情期間,校友總會幾乎馬不停蹄,為馬尼拉市各區居民發放大米和其他救濟物資,此「以天下之憂而憂」'「雪中送炭」的精神,獲得馬尼拉莫仁諾市長及陷入窘困者的同聲讚揚。在為他人解燃眉之急之際,對關係最密切的母校教職員,更是記掛於心。此次除赠送每一位教職員2500元生活補貼金外,也赠送了口罩及其他等防護裝備。

中正校友總會對母校飲水思源的美德,斐聲華社。平常不僅全力支持母校各種方案活動,對教職員亦是關懷備至,設有教師福利金,並在每年教師節贈送謝師禮予勞苦功高的老師們。在此次疫情嚴峻,更不斷地關懷母校每一位教職員的生活起居及近況。

對於校友會這份愛心,本校除致上由衷的謝意之餘,更祝校友總會會務蒸蒸日上,再接再厲,未來能嘉惠母校,亦能造福社會。

Face Masks Donated by Councilor Numero "Uno" Lim


Chiang Kai Shek College received 1,500 pieces of specially printed face masks from the top councilor of the 2nd District of Manila Numero "Uno" Lim. 
 
Councilor Lim is an alumnus of CKS since preschool and graduated from high school in 1996 and he is amiing the donation, remembering how he was loved as a student by his teachers. He is a three-term councilor and in the last election, he received the most number of votes among the six elected councilors of the 2nd district of Manila, making him the top councilor of the said district.
 
The masks will be distributed to teaching and non-teaching personnel as online classes are being currently held and distance learning classes are in the process of preparations.

From the initiative of the CKS College - Office for Student Life of the Narra campus, the Senior High School and Collegiate Student Executive Councils jointly spearheaded a project soliciting food items for distribution to needy families in barangays near the Padre Algue and Narra campuses.

Associate Dean for Student Life Wai Lin Sing, with her staff Shariz Lou Clares, Harly Castro, and Carmina Macabalo Ramos, conceptualized the project and discussed details with officers of the two Student Councils, thru their respective presidents Marxist Nicole So for college and Gertrude Tan for senior high school.

And with perseverance and hardwork, 46 sacks of 50 kilograms and 1 sack of 25 kilograms rice, 1 box of instant noodles, and 890 packs of grocery items were solicited from generous donors, including Abigail Wu Gan, Tomas Medina, Samson Tiu, Joyce Dy, Vampy’s Place/Hans Uy, Hebe Uy, Eisner Qua Sy, Arabella Chong, Antonio Ng, George and Janelle Ong, John Angel Flores, Harly Castro, Vanessa Cervantes, Wai Lin Sing, Shieryll Tan, Shariz Lou Clares, Romel Jaime, Yolanda Co, Lhay Asaña & Ankiat Co, Harold Ong, Erica Yu, Jeorge Sofia Cada, Kineth Yu, John Angel Flores and Candice Chua, Rozelle Diu, Alyssa Angeles, Christine Bello, and John Angel Flores, Eunice Sy, Pinky Chua and Marilyn Yeung, students of Grade 12-C, Jamie Oo, Marvin Co Yu, Audrey Silvestre, and Fernando Mira.

The donations were turned-over to the top councilor of Manila's second district and CKS high school alumnus, Numero "Uno" Lim, who took charge of repacking and distribution to beneficiary-families living in five nearby barangays.

As a result, a total of 890 families received food packs including 420 families from Barangay 160, 135 families from Barangay 243, 135 families from Barangay 244, 100 families from Barangay 250, and 100 families from Barangay 259.

Councilor Uno also organized the orderly distribution of the food packs on April 17 with Math Supervisor Fidel Savares, Narra campus office personnel Shariz Lou Clares and Oliver Roxas Chua in attendance.
